Jasmine Tubach - Our Studio owner and artistic director has extensive professional performance and choreography experience, earned numerous awards and has earned her Bachelors of Arts in Dance and Theater. She is well versed with all styles but brings an extra special punch with contemporary since she trained and traveled with several modern companies.

Shawn Blasingame – our previous studio owner and current assistant artistic director has performed professionally in the entertainment industry as a dancer, singer, actress and choreographer. She brings over 30 years of teaching and professional show business experience and knowledge to her students. She has trained and guided students to National Dance, Vocal and Acting Titles and onto professional careers of their own. She is active in the Williamsburg Theater community as a choreographer for area community theaters and school musicals.

Class sizes at BDA are smaller than average and limited to provide more one-on-one quality training to our students. It is our belief that the students learn and retrain more in a smaller class setting.

Our classroom is a structured and positive environment, with correct dance technique and terminology taught to our students. When students are given corrections it is done in an encouraging way and they are complimented on improvement to support the self-esteem of the dancer. Our studio is an overall fun and positive place to learn.

We have a lottery ticket reward system where students earn tickets for exceptional classroom behavior, studio spirit, participation and more. The winner is drawn from the tickets collected by the students all year at our recital and they receive a free year of unlimited dance tuition .

Broadway Dance Arts is equipped with observation windows in our lobby for parents to watch. Our dance floors our professionally installed floating sprung floors that help prevent injury and provide support for dancers.

There is a family atmosphere at Broadway Dance Arts. We enjoy getting to know all our students and their families by name. First class customer service and communication is very important to the staff at Broadway Dance Arts.

 Broadway Dance Arts stays current on what is happening in the dance world everyday. Our teachers attend numerous convention and workshops throughout the year with top choreographer in the nation. We see ourselves as a bridge for our students between our small town and the very large dance world.

A wide variety of programs and classes are offered for ages preschool through adult in beginner to advanced levels . Student’s can be recreational, competitive, singers, dancers, actors and more. We offer opportunities for our students to be well rounded performers.

Performance opportunities are available throughout the year for all BDA students including a Christmas Show, Recital, Festivals, and more!
